High Cooling Power

Our highly developed dilution unit, in combination with a powerful pumping system, allows us to offer the highest cooling power on the market. Our most powerful standard fridge the CF-CS110-1500 offers 1500 uW at 100 mK, while still achieving a sub 8 mK base temperature.

Fast Turnaround Times
For rapid cooldown of the full cryostat, a nitrogen pre-cooling circuit enables cooling from room to base temperature in under 20 hours. While high powered heaters allow overnight warm up.

Quantum Prepared
Leiden Cryogenics specialises in designing and manufacturing advanced cryogenic systems tailored for quantum research. Our CS110 line can support over 300 SMA or 1,000 high-density RF lines. The 3K plate can be tailored for cryo-CMOS, offering enhanced cooling power and increased sample volume.

 

Cold-Insertable Probe
Add a top-loading cold-insertable probe for rapid sample exchange, room temperature to base temperature in 6 hours. Customisable with a wide range of wiring and optical solutions. Upgrade your probe with a custom cold finger into the magnet bore, or with a clicking-system to interface with fridge mounted wiring.

μW at 120 mK, while still achieving a 5 mK base temperature.

Designed for Quantum

Our XXL line is built for quantum, supporting over 600 SMA or 2,000 high-density RF lines. The 3K plate can be tailored for cryo-CMOS, with the enhanced cooling power of four pulse tubes, and the extra extra large 1 m diameter sample volume.

Easy To Handle

Our cryostats are integrated into a motorized lifting table, allowing the vacuum can and radiation shields to be placed or removed by a single person in less than 20 minutes–no heavy lifting required. The lifting table spindles can then be retracted to decouple the cryostat from lab floor vibrations.

Sensitive Readout and Control

Always know the status of your system with 8 thermometers, a still level gauge and a precision LCR bridge for readout. Control base temperature with 4 low power heaters and a precision quad current source. All included as standard.

Advanced GHS

Advanced software handles automatic cooldown, continuous operation, and warmup; with integrated safety features to recover the mixture. Our high cooling power systems use two vibration-free magnetically levitated turbo pumps backed by a roots pump, making the system virtually maintenance free.

Hassle-Free RF Wiring

With SMA, SMP or K connectors. Including, breaks at each stage to future-proof your setup. Standard wiring up to 18 GHz, with upgrades to 40 GHz available. Attenuators, filters, circulators, amplifiers and many more RF components are available. DC wiring to bias active components is included.

Low Vibration Levels

Through our passive and active damping solutions we offer the lowest vibration levels on the market. This environment is ideal for scanning probe applications, such as the AFM-CFM systems of Attocube. Possible to mount at the bottom of a cold-insertable probe.

Diverse DC Options

Let us prepare your system to your specifications. From our standard low heat-load DC wiring, twisted and shielded to reduce noise, to Thermocoax, flexible coax, low resistivity and high-voltage wiring. Customise terminations and breaks at any plate.
